Camp Supervisors

At Funtastic Kids, we employ highly skilled, qualified and enthusiastic supervisors to lead and manage our holiday camps to ensure the very best provision, care and nurture for your children.

All our supervisors have up to date, regular training in safeguarding children including Prevent, FGM and CSE.

Meet some of our supervisors:

Sarah Abel

Sarah works at St Teresa’s Primary School during term time as the Pre-school supervisor.  Sarah has an NVQ level 3 teaching assistant qualification and also supervises at the after school club run by St Teresa’s School.  Sarah usually works at St Teresa’s holiday camp.

Kiera Aggarwal

Kiera has a BSc in Psychology and has recently passed her post graduate certificate of education.  Kiera will start her first teaching post in September 2019.  Kiera supervises in many of our holiday camps. Kiera is also our after school club supervisor at Whitley Park.

Janine Bloomfield

Janine is a teaching assistant at Emmbrook Infant School during term time. As well as NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, a distinction in foundation degree in primary teaching and learning, Janine has a  Level 4 certificate in Child and Adolescent Mental Health, level 4 in Triple P parenting and level  4 Award in working with  parents.   She also has a level 3 diploma in SEN support and a level 3 diploma in child psychology. Janine has paediatric first aid training and Level 2 Food and Hygiene training.  Janine is usually a supervisor at Emmbrook Junior School.

Emma Caswell

During term time, Emma is a teaching assistant at Beechwood Primary School in Woodley.  Emma has a diploma in specialist support for teaching and learning in the classroom and First Aid. Emma also has training in sports injury related first aid, social skills for children, emotional first aid, attachment disorder, swimming safety and is Team Teach trained.   She is usually our supervisor at our White Waltham camp.

Sandra Clare

During term time, Sandra is a teaching assistant at Whitley Park Primary School in Reading.  As well as being a level 3 teaching assistant, Sandra has a vast amount of professional training in SEN and inclusion: Dyscalculia, emotional, behavioural and social difficulties, anxiety and ASD, autistic spectrum disorder and ADHD. Sandra has paediatric first aid and Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene. She is usually our supervisor at our Whiteknights camp and is also our after school club supervisor at Whitley Park Primary School.

Jaime Dineen

During term time, Jaime works at Hawkedon Primary School as a 1:1 learning support assistant, in the after school club and during lunchtimes.  Jaime has Level 3 Diploma in Playwork; Level 3 award in employment awareness in active leisure and learning, and first aid.

Abigayl Dowling

Abi has a diploma in the Children’s and Young People’s workforce and during the term time, Abi works at St Paul’s Playgroup as a supervisor.  Abi often supervises at our Hawkedon or Emmbrook Holiday Camps.

Sarah Gresty

Sarah has a diploma in child pyschology and has recently completed her level 3 qualification.  Sarah works at St Paul’s Playgroup during term time.  Sarah is usually a supervisor at our Gorse Ride holiday camp.

Rachelle Godfrey

Rachelle is a qualified teacher working at Emmbrook Infant School in year 2.  Rachelle usually supervises at our Emmbrook camp where she knows many of the children.

Zoe Grove

Zoe runs our After School Club at Emmbrook Junior School.  Zoe has obtained a level 2 in Health and Social Care. Zoe was previously a childminder for many years. During the holidays, Zoe is a holiday camp supervisor and has worked at many of our camps but is often seen at Hatch Ride Primary School.

Donna Haden

During term time, Donna works at Highwood Primary School where she has been a teaching assistant for the past 14 years and recently as a supervisor of the breakfast club provision.  Donna’s qualifications include NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Level 3 Emergency Paediatric First Aid, Fire Safety, Child Protection and Behaviour Management.  Donna is currently the supervisor at our Highwood, Woodley Camp.

Karen Hardwicke

Karen is the former teacher of the deaf at Emmbrook’s Hearing Impaired Unit.  Karen has qualified teacher status and is currently working in schools in West Berkshire.  Karen usually works in our Burghfield St Mary’s and Springfield camps.

Stephanie Harriss

Steph is a qualified teacher and Assistant Headteacher working in Early Years at the Palmer Academy, Reading.  Additional training included lead safeguarding, safer recruitment, behaviour management and fire safety.  Steph works at our Palmer Academy holiday camp but also does cover management work during the summer holidays, supporting the other supervisors in delivering an excellent service. Steph is one of our deputy safeguarding leads.

Donna Hickmott

During term time, Donna works at Woodley CE Primary as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.  Donna’s qualifications include Higher Level Teaching Assistant status, NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools, First Aid at Work (including Paediatric CPR),and Understanding, Preventing and De-escalating Behaviour Foundation Course.  Donna is currently the supervisor at our Woodley Cof E camps.

Geraldine Humphrey

Geraldine works at Windmill Primary, Wokingham during term time as a teaching assistant.  Geraldine has achieved level 3 Diploma specialist support for teaching and learning.  Geraldine is usually the supervisor at  our holiday camp at Woodley CE Primary School.

Emma Kelly

Emma is a qualified teacher at Maiden Erlegh Secondary School.  Emma also works as a brownie leader in her spare time.  Emma has previously been a gym coach.  Emma is usually our supervisor at Springfield Primary.

Jackie Khan

Jackie is a full time teaching assistant at Emmbrook Infant School during term time.  Jackie has Level 2 teaching assistant qualification and speech and language training.  Jackie has also done e-learning training through the NHS in equality and diversity, fire safety and information security. Jackie has first aid training and Level 2 Food and Hygiene training.  Jackie helps Zoe run the Emmbrook Junior After School Club. Jackie is usually a supervisor at our Woodley CE Camp or Emmbrook Junior Holiday Camp.

Gillian Penny

Gill has a level in 2 in Teaching and Learning in Schools.  Currently Gill supervises in a school kitchen.  Gill is our holiday camp supervisor at Burghfield St Mary’s.

Kerry Player

Kerry has achieved her higher level teaching assistant status and currently works at Beechwood Primary School during term time.  Kerry usually works as a supervisor at our St Teresa’s holiday camp.

Gisele Reid

Gisele is a qualified teacher and senior leader at Sonning Primary School.  Gisele usually works at our St Teresa’s holiday camp but also does cover management work during the summer holidays, supporting the other supervisors in delivering an excellent service.  Gisele is one of our deputy safeguarding leads.

Helen Robinson

Helen is a qualified teacher, working at The Palmer Academy during term time.  Helen is usually our supervisor at our camp at Springfield Primary School.

Jodi Smaje

Jodi has a level 2 in Children and Young People’s Workforce and works at Radstock Primary in Early Years during term time. Jodi is currently studying for a degree in early years.

Sandra Warwick

Sandra works as an early years practitioner and supervisor at the Early Birds Pre-School during term time.  Sandra has a level 3 in children and young people’s workforce and a Btech in marketing and retailing.  Sandra is usually our supervisor at Hawkedon Primary School.

Dani Warwick

Dani is also an early years practitioner at Early Birds Pre-school during term time.  Dani has a level 2 in children and young people’s workforce.  Dani is usually a supervisor at our Hawkedon or Gorse Ride holiday camps.
