HAF Project – Easter 2024
Please note: The details on this page apply to the Easter Holidays ONLY.
This government-funded, holiday provision is for school-aged children from Reception to Year 11 (inclusive) who receive benefits-related free school meals.
Benefits-related free school meals (FSM) are only available to pupils if their parents/carers are in receipt of one of the qualifying benefits, and have a claim verified by their school or local authority.
To book a funded HAF place at our camps, find the details for your local authority below.
From Summer 2023 – the way you book your HAF placement has changed.
PLEASE CHECK HOW MANY FUNDED DAYS AND HOURS YOU ARE ENTITLED TO. ANY ADDITIONAL HOURS/SESSIONS YOU REQUIRE MUST BE PAID FOR.
If you need to book and pay for additional sessions, please do this in a separate booking from your funded HAF days. Please contact bookings@funtastickids.co.uk for part bookings (for example, if you would like to pay for extra hours to be added to a HAF funded day).
You are unable to use your HAF code across all boroughs. You can only use the HAF code for Holiday Camps located in the borough that provided it to you.
PLEASE NOTE THE COMPANY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DECLINE OR CANCEL ANY HAF BOOKING SHOULD YOU HAVE AN OUTSTANDING DEBT WITH US.
Please inform us if your child has any additional needs and fill in an All About Me form (see bottom of this webpage). Forms can be emailed to bookings@funtastickids.co.uk or brought to camp with you.
West Berkshire
Holiday Camp Venues: Burghfield St Mary’s CE Primary School, Kennet Primary School, Falkland Primary School, Springfield Primary School
Please speak to your school and ask them to email bookings@funtastickids.co.uk and give your details to us confirming you are entitled to HAF space.
You will need to be registered with us to book your HAF space. Once registered, you can then book your space at one of our West Berkshire Holiday Camps.
Where it asks you for your HAF reference please enter WBerks. Our team will then check your eligibility from the school emails.
This Easter you are entitled to a maximum of 4 days of 9.30am – 3.30pm sessions.
A healthy lunch is included in your child’s day.
Do not arrive at the Holiday Camp without confirmation of your booking.
Any bookings over this entitlement are chargeable to the parent/carer.

Wokingham
Holiday Camp Venues: Alder Grove CE Primary School, Earley St Peter’s CE Primary School, Emmbrook Infant School, Gorse Ride, Hawkedon Primary School, Hawthorns Primary School, Highwood Primary School, Loddon Primary School, Keep Hatch Primary School, Sonning CE Primary School and The Coombes CE Primary School.
You will need to be registered with Wokingham Borough Council:
They will be in touch with you via email and send you the link to the Holiday Activities booking system.
This Easter you are entitled to a maximum of 2 days of 9.30am -3.30pm sessions at one of our Wokingham Holiday Camps. Once you have made your booking, this will then be approved on the Holiday Activities booking system by us. A healthy lunch is included in your child’s day.
Do not arrive at the Holiday Camp without confirmation of your booking.
Any bookings over this entitlement are chargeable to the parent/carer.

Bracknell
Holiday Camp Venues: Binfield CE Primary School, Kings Academy Oakwood Primary School
You will need to be registered with Bracknell Forest Council: https://www.bracknell-forest.gov.uk/schools-and-learning/schools/holiday-activities-and-food-programme
They will be in touch with you via email and send you the link to the Eequ booking system.
This Easter you are entitled to a maximum of 4 days of 9.30am – 3.30pm sessions at one of our Bracknell Holiday Camps. Once you have made your booking, this will then be approved on the Eequ booking system by us. A healthy lunch is included in your child’s day.
Do not arrive at the Holiday Camp without confirmation of your booking.
Any bookings over this entitlement are chargeable to the parent/carer.

Reading
Holiday Camp Venues: Whitley Park (HAF ONLY CAMP)
If you believe you are entitled to receive HAF spaces – please visit the Brighter Futures Website – https://brighterfuturesforchildren.org/for-parents-carers/schools/school-meals/
Here you can read the Parents & Carers page, visit Holiday Activity and Food where you will be able to download and complete an application form which you provide to your school.
If you are already registered, you will receive an email with a link to the Holiday Activities website.
This Easter we are only running at Whitley Park Primary school. You are entitled to a maximum of 4 x sessions. HAF only runs – 4 x days for 4 hours. For Easter 2024 we will be open Tuesday 2nd, Wednesday 3rd, Thursday 4th & Friday 5th April 2024, 10am until 2pm.
A healthy lunch is included in your child’s day.
We are not able to offer any additional days or hours.
Do not arrive at the Holiday Camp without confirmation of your booking.
Help us to support your child
Fill in the All About Me form and email it to bookings@funtastickids.co.uk
OR
Take it with you on your child’s first day and hand it to the supervisor.
