Funtastic Summer Reading Challenge
Funtastic Kids are excited to join in with the Summer Reading Challenge!
This year, The Reading Agency and Create Charity have teamed up to inspire children to celebrate creativity and the joy of reading through the theme, ‘Marvellous Makers’. Children will have the chance to explore plenty of creative opportunities, from dance and music to painting and crafts, while discovering the power of reading.
At Funtastic Kids, we believe in the benefits of reading for pleasure. It not only supports children’s language skills but also expands their imaginations. All our Summer Holiday Camp locations will have a variety of books for children to enjoy! We will encourage kids to read independently and to each other which will count towards the challenge. Our staff also love to lead story time during quieter moments in the day!
We’re thrilled to announce that local librarians will visit selected holiday camps to share their passion for books and promote the challenge!
