Sarah King
Operations Manager
Sarah is our Operations Manager who helps support children and families across our childcare settings.
As a single mum to a son with SEND (now grown-up), she brings personal insight and empathy to her work with families.
Sarah loves working with children in a school setting or Holiday Camp setting. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and is a Harry Potter fan.
Qualifications & Experience

Sarah started her career in Education in 2002, when she volunteered to read in her son’s class and then was invited to become a Teaching Assistant

She later went on to study for her BA (Hons) Degree in Childhood and Youth Studies and in 2013 secured a Family Worker role in a local school. Sarah then progressed to a Family Support Manager working across two primary schools with an assistant

Sarah first started working with Funtastic Kids in June 2021 as a Holiday Camp Supervisor during school holidays, then became full time in 2025 as an Area Manager before progressing to her current role as Operations Manager
