Clare Sheppard
Operations Manager
Clare is our Operations Manager and advises the team on ensuring our childcare provision meets the needs of early years children.
Clare has safer recruitment training and assists the company in recruitment and organising staffing. Clare is also a Deputy Safeguarding Lead designated person for safeguarding.
Clare is a Mum of two now grown up children and before she began her career in childcare was a Graduate Retail Manager for the Arcadia Group.
Qualifications & Experience

NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development, and Management Studies

Paediatric First Aid

Effective Safeguarding Practice including lead safeguarding designated person training

Clare has over 18 years of experience in childcare, having been an Ofsted Registered Outstanding Childminder (including to Louise’s own children) then the manager of a local pre-school for almost 10 years

Clare has worked with Managing Director, Louise Holloway at Funtastic Kids since 2016 helping to grow the business. Initially she did this alongside running a local pre-school, then joined Funtastic Kids fully in 2019
